UIU, BASIS agree to work for software market expansion
A memorandum of understanding between United International University and the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services was signed on Saturday.
UIU computer science and engineering head Hasan Sarwar and BASIS president Mahboob Zaman signed the MoU, said in a press release.
UIU and BASIS would jointly work for research and carry on various information technology related engineering, practices, solutions and trainings for the expanding market for the country’s software, the press release confirmed.
At the signing ceremony, UIU student affairs director Suman Ahmmed, CSE assistant professor Salekul Islam, BASIS senior vice president Fahim Mashroor and joint secretary general Tamzid Siddiq Spondon were also present.
