BITM goes global

BASIS Institute of Technology & Management (BITM) conducted a two-day workshop on Microwork at Thimpu, Bhutan. In response to the invitation from Bhutan Ministry of Labour and Human Resources, a four member team from BASIS conducted this workshop on June 29 & 30, 2013. The team members were Director in-charge of BITM Shah Imraul Kaeesh, BITM Coordinator Talukder Mohammad Shabbir, BASIS Outsourcing Award winners Alamin Chowdhury and Enayet Hussain Rajib. The workshop was held at the Bhutan Chamber of Commerce & Industries (BCCI). More than one hundred participants from different colleges and universities participated in this two days session where the officials of Bhutan Ministry of Labour and Human Resources were also present. The speakers discussed about the different aspects of Microwork (Outsourcing) and its prospect to give the participants a brief idea of Microworking. BASIS Outsourcing Award winners shared their personal experience in Microworking (Outsourcing) which influenced the participants. BITM delegation also met the high officials of Bank of Bhutan and Druk PNB Bank Ltd. separately to discuss the payment system of Microworking during their visit.
