An Agreement Signing Ceremony between BASIS and Grameenphone was held today at the Conference Hall of BASIS at BSRS Bhaban, 12 Karwan Bazaar today, 1^st February 2010. Mr. Habibullah N Karim President of BASIS and Mr. Ryhan Shamsi, Acting CEO of Grameenphone signed the Platinum Sponsorship Agreement on cooperation for SoftExpo 2010 between their respective organizations.

Mr. A Towhid, former President of BASIS and Chairman of the Standing Committee on National Events, Mr. MA Mubin Khan, Director of BASIS, Mr. Ishtiaq Hussen Chowdhury, General Manager of Grameenphone were among others present in the signing ceremony.

According to the signed agreement Grameenphone has become the Platinum Sponsor for the largest software and IT enabled services (ITES) exhibition of BASIS SoftExpo 2010 going to be held on February 10-14, 2010. Grameenphone has also come into agreement that they will support BASIS for three consecutive years in their shared fields of activities.
